Uganda is known as the Pearl of Africa. It has one of the best climates in the world and English is the official language. It has 10 National Parks, 12 Wildlife Reserves, and 14 Wildlife Sanctuaries. Ggolo is a small impoverished village located on the banks of Lake Victoria.
Trip participants flew to the Entebbe International Airport (IATA: EBB). On this expedition, participants carried out the following service in activities:
Expeditions included educational, environmental and cultural excursions during the evenings and weekends, including a trip to Jinja to see the Source of the Nile and a visit to a crocodile farm.
Participants stayed in the village of Ggolo, Uganda. This is a very poor village, and the accommodations are very basic. Limited running water and electricity are available.
