Participants must arrive at Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (IATA: NBO) and then fly into Kisumu International Airport (IATA: KIS).
Participants will stay in a hostel located in Vihiga. The hostel has indoor plumbing, running water, and electricity.

Volunteers are required to purchase their own travel insurance.
Vihiga is a beautiful area located in western Kenya. Participants will visit several of Vihiga's rural villages, including Kakamega, Khatikala, Maragoli, and Mbale. On this expedition, participants will be able to perform service such as:
Expeditions include educational, environmental and cultural excursions during the evenings and weekends. This may include trips to the Equator Line, Nairobi National Park, the David Sheldrick Wildlife Foundation, Lake Nakuru National Park, the Bomas Cultural Center, a visit to the village where President Obama's father lived, or a Nairobi City Tour.
